ACTION NARRATIVE 3:16:38 PM CHAIR KURT OLSON called the House Labor and Commerce Standing Committee meeting to order at 3:16 p.m. Representatives Olson, Colver, Tilton, Kito, Josephson, and Hughes were present at the call to order. HB 248-ELECTRONIC TAX RETURNS & ALCOHOL TAX 3:16:58 PM CHAIR OLSON announced that the only order of business would be HOUSE BILL NO. 248, "An Act requiring the electronic submission of a tax return or report with the Department of Revenue; relating to the excise tax on alcoholic beverages; and providing for an effective date." 3:17:11 PM CHAIR OLSON reopened public testimony on HB 248. After ascertaining no one wished to testify, closed public testimony. 3:17:37 PM JERRY BURNETT, Deputy Commissioner, Office of the Commissioner, Department of Revenue, assured the committee his department would quickly respond to any outstanding questions on the bill.
